Gift Tags

The young lad I made the little chocolate boxes was so thrilled with them, that I thought I would make him a little gift of tags to go with them which he can attach to the ribbons when he finishes his pressies.   Created in MCS using one of their tag designs, but faded out more, and then some MCS poinsettia images added, as well as some from Forever Friends as I know his family love FF Bears.  I even punched the holes for him with my japanese screw punch!

Today we have a selection of cards from the MCS "e" Christmas CDs.  Plenty of glitter here too!  I love this sparkly font! - "Fontdinerdotcom Sparkly"

Chocolate Boxes

My pal asked me if I could make some small chocolate boxes for her grandson, who is making chocolates for his family Christmas presents.   Very simple to make with the Hougie Board, and they all have double thickness sides (i.e. sides folded over to hide joins).  My prototype had a poinsettia on and he rather likes that - so have used that idea for them all, just varying the colours and types of card, )some have the same colour top and base, others have complimentary coloured bases),and adding various colours of glitter and gems.

a close up showing the base with it's folded side, and some close ups of a fw of the poinsettias  artistic licence on the colours, as didn't know how many male and female ones were needed.

Christmas Cards 2 - stamped images

Today's selection are stamped images, some coloured with promarkers, and the embossed trees are Barbara Gray stamps.  You will see that my new "snow" cuttlebug folder has become a firm favourite, and I have also done some scoring with my Hougie Board. (I love my Hougie!) .  All the cards are fairly simple as usual.  I particularly love the "snow" stamp - I have done quite a few of those!

Christmas Cards1 - Poinsettias

Well I have just about finished my Christmas Cards - so I though I would start to show some of them.  You can't see it very well in the photos, but most of them have quite a bit of sparkle on them!

This first batch is based on Poinsettias and were all created in MCS and I think I am right in saying the images and back paper were from MCS Craft 'e' Christmas - the first one has a Robin image in it from a Joanna Sheen cd - the Glynn Williams Times Gone By cd2.  Having put the photos on here - I can see that I still have some sentiments to add to a few - they will get done when start to write them!

I am loving the font I used for the wording - you'll see more of that in the next few batches!
